Although I wouldn't say our classroomhad kairos for the speeches, I do think many of the speakers recreatedthe kairos that the commercials had when they were aired. The more you rehearse the easier it will be deliver it well. The most successful speeches, in my opinion, were those that found the medium between monotony and aggressive animation. I think by the next speech people will have more confidence and that will help those issues you brought up. And many of us have not discovered what it is all about. One thing I noticed about this school when I came last year is that most of the students didn't really get to make any of the decisions here at the school. And who, like me, is passionate about making sure that everybody gets a fair go? Emotion has a huge impact on people because a lot of times people can not control their emotions. I will introduce ideas for events, such as a weekly sock hop after high school basketball games and we'll work together to help the community through volunteer work and showing them just how dedicated the students at Williams are. I don't want to make false promises or just be a lazy president. There are lots of creative ways to make a flashy opening. I enjoy answering questions about myself and am always willing to discuss issues and assist in finding a solution.
